What are Apprenticeships?
If you would like to earn a wage while you learn a skill, then an apprenticeship is the perfect career choice.
With apprenticeships you will spend some of your time working and some of your time (usually about one day a week) studying for your job related qualification, e.g NVQ in Project Management.
The grades you get at GCSE along with the experience you have in a subject area usually determines whether you start at Level 2 or Level 3. You can expect to be treated as an employee and earn between £160 and £190 a week. As with most jobs, over time your wage will increase.
